Our Commitment to Human Rights and the Environment
At DSE, we are fully committed to respect human rights and environmental standards while ensuring sustainable access to healthcare. Our adherence to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA) underscores our dedication to upholding human rights and environmental protection principles within our business area and in our supply chains. We contribute to upholding these fundamental rights by assigning distinct responsibilities and implementing various measures to ensure compliance.
Ensuring Adherence to Human Rights and Environmental Standards – Our Commitment
- We actively uphold the principles of human rights and environmental protection as outlined in the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).
- We collaborate globally with contract partners and suppliers to achieve sustainability goals in line with the UN Global Compact principles.
- We conduct comprehensive risk analysis to continually progress in our due diligence for human rights and environmental considerations within our own business areas and our supply chain.
- We expect strict compliance with human rights and environmental protection from our employees and third parties, and we encourage reporting of any concerns in this regard via our complaint mechanisms.
- We commit to transparent reporting, including compliance with reporting obligations under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. We publicly share annual reports on our efforts, progress, and challenges in implementing measures for the further protection of human rights and the environment.
