In fiscal year 2011, Daiichi Sankyo has achieved €644 million net sales in Europe. These results were obtained by almost 2,500 employees in 12 European affiliates. In fiscal year 2011, Daiichi Sankyo invested €1.70 billion worldwide in research and development, or 19.7 per cent of its net sales.
Daiichi Sankyo Europe's net sales have increased steadily and strongly in recent fiscal years.
Today, European turnovers are about €644 million. In terms of sales, Europe is the third most important market for the Daiichi Sankyo Group. The biggest markets here for Daiichi Sankyo are Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
